The animation shows an experiment in optics.
The animation shows the 13 Archimedean solids ie highly symmetric, semi-regular convex polyhedra composed of two or more types of regular polygons meeting in identical vertices.
The animation shows the law of conservation of energy: it is one of the most important conservation laws observed in nature. In its most intuitive form this law states that, although energy can be transformed and converted from one form to another, the total quantity of it in an isolated system does not vary in time.
The animation describes the physical concept of "work" : that is, the kinetic energy transfer between the two systems by the action of a force or a resultant of forces when the object undergoes a displacement and the force has a non-zero component in the direction of the displacement.

By means of the simulation it is possible to explore various fractal figures obtained by applying the same type of procedure used to generate the Mandelbrot set.
The simulation reproduces the "microscopic model" of traffic recently developed by German researchers M. Treiber , A. Hennecke , and D. Helbing University of Dresden.
The game is based on the role plyed by light. On the one hand, the illumination favors the process of photosynthesis, and therefore increases the "purifying" action of plants . On the other hand, an intense light and lasting tends to increase the internal temperature of the glass bell . The increase in temperature has a detrimental effect on microcosm mouse - plants : it causes a greater consumption of oxygen by plants and the mouse and lowers efficiency of the process of photosynthesis.
The simulation shows the world seen from two different vantage points. The first corresponds to that of an observer stationary with respect to the ground. The second one is the point of view of an observer who moves together with the carriage. The truck travels at a constant speed that can be adjusted before the start of each observation.
